Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Very disappointed in my trailer wash at Akron Truck Wash. I paid to have the entire cargo area cleaned including having the mats removed & the floor cleaned. ($40) I specifically asked him to remove the mats & clean the floor along with the rubber lined walls of the trailer. When I got the trailer home, I checked in back and it was still filthy. The walls were still full of horse poop and the mats had not been moved at all. The floor under the mats still had filth & was full of sawdust, so they did nothing but spray some water in top on the mats. They didn’t use any high pressure water to remove the horse poop and they did not take the mats out and clean the floor. Don’t waste your money taking your trailer there. This is not the first time I’ve had poor service there and I will never be back. I will also tell everyone that I ride with to not take their trailers there. They never answer their business phone either so you can’t call & get any info on services. Absolutely terrible!!

Very disappointed in this wash job. 140 dollars for my truck and trailer to be washed and I still have bugs and film on my stacks and pretty much all stainless on the truck. Bugs still all over the front of the trailer. Grease on my half fenders and soap streaks on my tanks. Place is a joke talk to a few other drivers today that went through there and they were also unsatisfied with the same quality

Delivered fish the night before 30 miles away, I let the frozen blood in my reefer defrost and got a wash out here the next morning. It was $55 and was done in about 10 minutes. There was some minor debris in the grooves that most washes would’ve washed out with water pressure but nothing crazy(not talking about the trailer stains). Still a good washout nonetheless
